Greetings,
March has come and gone and will go down in history as being one of our
greater demands on food.
We are giving out an average of 15,000 to 20,000 Ibs. each time we are
open and the people keep coming.
Thanks to John and Donna Miller for producing and printing a hand out
flyer that does a birds eye view of what Fishnet is all about. We have used
it in several speaking engagements that we have done. Everyone thinks it
is great.
We are now in a Matching Funds Program with Modern Woodmen of
America for the next 30 days. They will match up to $2500.00 that we
produce. We are selling tickets to win a HD TV (RCA), retail value of
$598.00 plus tax. Tickets are $2 each. Or we can take donations that will
count also. Please help us. We need to get this $2500.00.
We have been invited to speak at Trinity United Methodist Church this
coming month and at two different insurance meetings.
The more we are out, the more people realize we are here and some of
those will support us and we thank everyone for their support.
We are now running an average of 52 volunteers on site each time we
open up and they are all busy. More customers, more food, more work.
Our Thrift Shop is in need of used furniture and any other reusable items
that you may have. We give tax receipts upon request.
Thanks to ah1 of you for your help. So many of you give of your time
endlessly. We may not get paid here but there is coming a payday and
God keeps perfect records.
