| Fishnet widows were honored Thursday, February 12 at a luncheon with a Valentine's Day theme. Their table was decorated with roses in vases and matching place settings. Those enjoying the festivities were Sue Anderson, Winnie Blakey, Bernice Brackin, Shirley Culbertson, Helen Evans, Bonnie Franklin, Betty McPherson, Verdia Stroud and Pat Young. Each widow was given a box of chocolates and a tin bucket of candies. The kitchen staff prepared a special=2 0meal for the honored guests and the other volunteers present. An extraordinary job of decorating the widows' table was accomplished by Shirley Culbertson who also adorned the rest of the room for the other volunteers. |
