Angels in Action are Fishnet volunteers who reach out to the hurting needs of others by
sending cards to the sick, lonely, deployed and those who are incarcerated. They
make home and hospital visits to the sick and take gifts. They make up health packets
for the River Ministry to the homeless. They collect socks, gloves and caps for the
homeless, which are given out as needed. Besides their volunteering every Tuesday
and Thursday, preparing food bags to go out weekly, they also feed lunch to the less
fortunate children in the area. Most of the children are able to walk to our location,
(transportation is needed                                                        desperately from anyone
who could help us) during                                                        the summer months when
school is out, but others                                                         are to far away. Some of
the children receive a                                                           free lunch at school, but
when school is out, we                                                            try to take up the slack
and see that they                                                                  have a meal for lunch.

These lunches are served Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
